IT ALL STARTS WITH A CONVERSATION
Online Trauma Therapy
Trauma isn’t defined by what happened to you.
It’s defined by what was too overwhelming for your nervous system to process.
Many of the messages, relationships, and experiences from childhood may have looked “normal” on the outside yet if they overwhelmed your developing brain, they shaped how you learned to see yourself and the world.
Over time, trauma can quietly distort your sense of self-worth and belonging.
You may find yourself stuck in painful relationship patterns, feeling “too much,” not enough, dependent, anxious, numb, or deeply confused.
And that can make life feel messy, exhausting, and lonely.
Why Talk Therapy Alone Isn’t Always Enough
Mindfulness tools like yoga and meditation are helpful for a body and mind under stress, but if they’re not connected to a process of identifying and healing from your past, they’ll never help you write a new story
Your body’s trauma responses—fight, flight, freeze—once helped you survive.
But what kept you safe then may now be limiting your ability to thrive.
Mindfulness practices like yoga or meditation can be helpful for stress relief. But without addressing the root experiences stored in the nervous system, they often don’t lead to lasting change.
True healing requires more than coping skills.
It requires gently working with the body, the brain, and the story you carry.
A Holistic, Trauma-Informed Approach
With a holistic approach to counseling, we work to move beyond survival patterns and into new, creative, and freeing ways of living.
In our work together, we approach your past with curiosity, imagination, and compassion—because sometimes that’s exactly what your brain needs to experience something new.
From the moment you step into my office, slip off your shoes, and settle into the couch, the pace shifts.
You’re invited to soften, breathe, and begin seeing yourself and your experiences through a different lens.
Our sessions may include:
- EMDR therapy
- Somatic Therapy
- Inner Child Part Work
- Guided imagery and visualization
- Gentle movement or restorative yoga
- Guided writing and reflective practices
Each session is tailored to what your nervous system needs in that moment.
Over time, many clients notice they are breathing deeper, thinking more clearly, and making decisions that feel aligned rather than reactive.
Ways We Can Work Together
Individual Therapy (Virtual)
Ongoing trauma-informed therapy to support nervous system regulation, emotional integration, and meaningful change.
EMDR Intensives
A focused option for addressing specific traumatic events, persistent patterns, or areas where you feel stuck. EMDR intensives can be especially helpful if you:
- Want deeper work in a shorter time frame
- Are continuing therapy with another provider
- Have limited availability for weekly sessions
This work may not be the right fit if you’re looking for quick fixes or purely cognitive strategies without body-based integration.
Curious which option is right for you? Let’s talk.
Areas of Focus
- Anxiety (panic, excessive worry, social anxiety, intrusive thoughts)
- Trauma symptoms (flashbacks, nightmares, hypervigilance, numbness)
- Attachment wounds (neglect, abuse, adverse childhood experiences)
- PTSD, C-PTSD, and secondary trauma
- Loss, grief, divorce, and betrayal
- Pre- and postnatal anxiety and birth trauma
- Sexual trauma
- Codependency and family addiction recovery
- Increasing self-worth and clarity of life direction

I do not bill health insurance in my private practice. This allows our work together to remain fully confidential, flexible, and focused on your healing, rather than on a diagnosis or insurance requirements.
Paying out-of-pocket gives you the freedom to explore therapy in a way that truly meets your needs, without limitations from insurance coverage.
I understand that therapy isn’t always easy to afford. I maintain a limited number of financial hardship slots, so please don’t hesitate to ask about a reduced rate.
You may also be able to use pre-tax funds from an HSA or FSA to cover therapy, making it more accessible.
Teletherapy is just like in-person therapy except we meet virtually. Whether you choose online or in-office sessions, the effectiveness of therapy remains the same.
– Many clients find online therapy offers flexibility and convenience:
– Schedule sessions that fit your busy life, even during lunch or days off
– Skip commuting, traffic, and bad weather
Meet in a comfortable space you choose, whether at home or elsewhere
Teletherapy allows us to maintain continuity in your care while reducing stress, making it easier to prioritize your health and healing.
The length and frequency of therapy depend on your individual needs. Most clients start with weekly or bi-weekly 90-minute sessions to address symptoms and restore stability.
As progress is made, sessions often taper to bi-monthly, monthly, or occasional check-ins, depending on what supports your continued growth.
Therapy is a personalized process—your pace and goals guide the schedule.
